I thought we could do with a change of scenery today with a gorgeous garden wedding all the way from California! I love seeing weddings from all over the world and this one had too many beautiful details to pass up!

Betty and John met through a mutual friend at college (although their story is much better than I can retell today!) They dated for two years until they had to part ways. Their long distance relationship didn’t work and the pair ended up parting ways. Eight years later, John received a job offer in LA, the couple reconnected and the rest is history! And John proposed in the park where the couple had their first kiss.

Betty and John married and celebrated at the Temecula Creek Inn in California.

Betty’s beautiful gown was from Claire Pettibone with earrings and a bracelet made by HannahMade on Etsy . John wore a suit from Friar Tux and all the guys wore John Varvatos vintage style Converse! Betty says “Everyone in the bridal party and other family members helped to set up all the tables and put out table signs and favors. I don’t know exactly what went on since I was in my room getting ready and having hair/make-up done—but it sounds like it got a little stressful trying to get everything put out in time. I heard there was yelling and running around, but you’d never know because truly everything was perfect. People always say that there’s at least one thing that goes wrong, but I can’t think of one…it was perfect!”

Betty carried a bouquet of soft pink roses created by Spring Flowers & Events.

Betty and John made many of the wedding touches themselves- the flower girl basket, flower petal cones, welcome baskets, favor trims, table name signs, wedding sign, kids’ table and favors, bathroom baskets and the finishing touches to their invitations. The ring pillow was made by Llubav.

Betty walked down the aisle to “Here, There & Everywhere” by The Beatles. Betty says one of her favourite moments was “Seeing our two families with such different backgrounds come together and become one family.”
