I love these pretty English details! It’s quite a tradition isn’t it? Between Australians and the English- we banter about Cricket, we backpack on each other’s shores and we all love beer.
Naomi arrived to the ceremony in a horse and carriage which transported the couple to the reception. Guests were transported in a vintage bus while the bridal party traveled in a black and cream Rolls Royce.
Naomi and Robin’s flower girls wore gowns from Australian designer Tea Princess. They walked down the aisle with teddy bears- a nod to the first present Robin ever gave Naomi.
While the newlyweds and their bridal party were taken for photos down by the river, guests enjoyed Pimms & lemonade with canapes while basking in the sunshine on the lawn.
Naomi and Robin held their reception in a marquee on Naomi’s parent’s lawn.
The couple filled the reception with sentimental touches. Their favourite music – Jack Johnson, played throughout dinner, the guest book was made from Polaroids stuck into a vintage style wire heart. Guests found their picture and left a message for the couple on the back.
A vintage style candy buffet was set up with sweets the couple found around Yorkshire, tables were named after special locations.
Naomi and Robin danced their first dance as husband and wife to “Pennylover” by Lionel Ritchie and celebrated with guests all night long.
I feel I need a pot of tea after looking at the beautiful photos from Naomi and Robin’s wedding. So English and so beautiful! Congratulations to you both on your marriage! Thank you for sharing your special day with us! Thank you also to Rebecca of Rebecca Honeywell Photography for sharing the photographs today!

I bet everyone enjoyed that wedding. Why? I love the fact that they filled it with simple and sentimental touches. I think is shows a personal touch of the couple. Plus, I also love the candy buffet. Sweet!
