After the ceremony, the bridal party headed to the stormy beach for windswept photos.
My Little Cupcake created a tower of cupcakes in lieu of a traditional wedding cake.
Ali and Jason wanted a laid back feel to their day so decorated very minimally using lanterns and jars with grouped arrangements of flowers as used in the bouquets. Guests were given lolly bags from Poppies For Grace.
Ali created all of the wedding stationery herself – decor and styling is a passion of Ali’s and she has gone on to set up a business – The Wedding Collective with her friend, dedicated to laid back weddings.
Guests gathered for celebratory drinks on the deck at Bannisters Point Lodge.
Ali was thrilled with the presence of family and friends on the wedding day. “Having all my beautiful family and friends come over from the UK, they are all individually so important to me, and it literally made my day. Being surrounded by all your favourite people is a really special and overwhelming experience.”
Thank you Ali and Jason for sharing your wedding day with us on Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to SugarLove Weddings for today’s gorgeous photos!
