Lori & William
With Spring in full bloom in Australia, I thought this wedding fit the bill for today. So much beautiful greenery surrounds this beautiful, intimate celebration of Lori and William! Lori shared with me how she and William met.
Today’s photographs are by Treva Tribit Photography.
“We met at church one Sunday after service a group of singles were going out to lunch and I asked William if he was going. He replied that he didn’t think so. I razzed him a little about it and he ended up coming. While in line to order food I started asking him questions about himself and continued talking throughout lunch. The same evening at a singles church meeting he approached me and asked me out to a basketball game. I wasn’t ready to date at the time and I turned him down and said that it’s not about him in any way I am not ready to date at this time. Well he didn’t take no for an answer and continued to try.
About a month later he called me early in the morning. I was sitting in my college class waiting for the class to start. I was surprised to receive the call from him. (what girl doesn’t love being pursued, he didn’t give up yet found a respectful classy way to remind me that he is there) We started talking about everything and really had a great time talking to him. A few weeks later I was starting a bible study at my home and called him to invite him to join the group. He came and from that night on we began what was a weekend of “dating” He took me out the next day to the lake and had dinner together. That was the start of our relationship and from there we have been dating since November of 2007. He proposed in Colorado on September 13, 2008. It was the most perfect spot at a small lake nestled between mountains.”
Lori and William married in Castroville, Texas at the Landmark Inn Bed & Breakfast. A historic site in Texas, the town itself was founded in the 1800’s and William’s family helped establish the town. Lori and William had photos taken by the historic water mill which was once used to power the town.

Lori and William chose to have all of their photos taken before the ceremony.
