How to plan a wedding? The words “don’t panic” need to be repeated clearly and often: “Don’t panic” when you realise you’re getting married on the busiest wedding day of the year. “Don’t panic” when you realise your dream invitations will take six months and $2K to make. “Don’t panic” when you’ve got bridesmaids in three states and no frocks yet… See, still cool, calm and collected. On the inside anyway.
My #1 planning tip is to research thoroughly and to think outside of the box when you are applying ideas you have seen to your own wedding. I have seen so many beautiful ideas on websites and just by spending the time researching I have found pretty cheap letterpress printers, venues and honeymoon accommodation etc. I’m stoked that we’re able to save some money and still have so many of the details that we love!
Remember it’s your day, so do it your way.
And it’s only one day out of a lifetime together – so if something goes wrong, just smile and go with it. The best days are still yet to come….
Work together as a team!
I want my partner to enjoy our day as much as I know i will
