I’m back with part two of Emma and Nick’s wedding!
What I think I love most about the wedding was that Emma and Nick chose a location that was very special to them both. They involved their talented family and friends to make their celebration truly personal.
The couple held their reception at the local Wherrol Flat Hall and the catering was provided by The Bank Guest House & Tellers Restaurant (who also provided the accommodation). Emma and Nick were determined to use local suppliers and produce so the caterers sourced local cheeses, meats and preserves to serve at the lunch time reception.
Emma and her mother collected vintage tea cups from op shops and second hand stores to take the place of vases. Each cup held flowers in shades of yellow and white. The paper lanterns were hung from the ceiling by Emma’s family.
The cake was by Sweet Art. Favors were small organza bags from online store Craft On The Internet filled with silver sugared almonds.
One of Emma’s favourite parts of the wedding day was the speeches. Some were touching and some were funny but each one meant the world to her and Nick.
Thank you for sharing your wedding with Polka Dot Bride today Emma and Nick! I wish you all the joy and happiness in your lives together!

I love the old country hall idea. This looks like a fun wedding!
