Today’s real wedding comes to us courtesy of Emarie of A Savvy Event. Rachel and Mike were married at The Harvest Inn in the Napa Valley.
Rachel shared how the couple met. “Mike and I met in NYC. He was the keyboardist in a band (his after work fun!) He had a big gig at Tobacco Road (a bar in the city). My friend Melissa’s boyfriend Michael was promoting the gig. I went with Melissa and she introduced me to Mike before he went on. This was the first of my being a groupie to Mike’s band at various spots around the city. Now we live in much more reality!
Their rehearsal dinner was held in a wine cave the night before the wedding and also took their guests on a wine tour. It allowed a weekend long celebration and gave guests time to spend with a couple and a new experience.
Mulberry Photography captured the weekend long event, while Emarie of A Savvy Event was in charge of the planning.
Rachel wore a Romona Keveza gown, Mike wore a Banana Republic suit and the bridesmaids frocked up in chocolate brown gowns from J.Crew
The wedding is packed full of beautiful details and a lovely relaxed feel. I’m so thrilled to be able to share it with you today.
Rachel had quotes from the couples favourite love songs printed onto plaques that lined the way to their cocktail hour.
Rachel wore Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby D’Orsay heels.
Beautiful flowers were by Kate Stanley
The couple share a love of travel, which was reflected through details on their wedding day. Rachel and Mike also had a “first look” before their wedding ceremony.
Off to get married! Check back later today for more beautiful details, the ceremony and the celebration of Rachael and Mike!
