Happy Australia Day!
Pavlova, Tim Tams and wine…all guilt free! It doesn’t get much better than that! 😉
Happy Australia Day!
xx Kit
Happy Australia Day to you!
I LOVE Tim Tams. Oh, and Minty’s! Not so keen on the vegemite though. I had an exchange student from Melbourne who brought those things over to the states. It was such fun to try them!
You are making me want to celebrate Australia Day here in the states just for the yummy food! Have a great time celebrating :)!
Ohhh all that food looks delicious!
So cool, Happy Australia Day, Ms. Polka! I agree – everything looks very yummy…though I’ve never tried Lamb or Vegemite. However that 2nd picture looks like something chocolate? Now THAT is something I’m familiar with..ha ha. What are those, coconut covered brownies? Do share! 😉
Enjoy your day…
Sincerely,
Jaime
Kit- Perfect day by my standards!
Erica- The best way to eat vegemite is spread thinly on hot buttered toast. It really is the best comfort food and a yummy breakfast!
Caroline- Perhaps you should celebrate anyway! We seem to celebrate all sorts of international events here (Which reminds me Happy Chinese New Year!)
AmyJean- It really is, the pavlova was the best part!
Jaime- They’re actually lamingtons! It’s plain sponge cake dipped in chocolate and then rolled in coconut. You can get them with jam (your jelly) or cream in the middle but I love the plain ones. Kathryn posted a recipe yesterday at her blog
