Sweets or lollies are always a hit with guests at a wedding.

If you decide to give your guests sweets as favours how about trying something a little different to the boiled lollies with the bride and grooms names on them. Theme the sweets to the colour of your wedding such as green, or white and black or red – get creative!
There are plenty of sweets available, and plenty of sweet shops with a feast of lollies to tempt you.Packaged in mini noodle boxes with a bright sticker enclosing the lid, or transparent boxes tied up with ribbon they will make a wonderful favour for your guests.

Think favourite sweets of your and your groom’s childhoods, or a variety of sweets packaged in paper bags – just as if you had gone to the local corner shop and peered through the glass counter and chosen all your favourites with the hard won coin in your hand!
Lollipops, large or small would look cute with the guests names on tags attached to the wooden stick and propped into a metal or glass jar, licorice allsorts in clear containers to show off their colours, mint leaves and green jubes in clear tubes tied with green and white ribbon at each end to look like a wrapped lolly – the variety it endless.
What yummy ideas!
I happened to catch Martha Stewart’s Halloween Day show. She did a segment featuring a tour of the My M&Ms factory, showing how the graphic artists convert your photos into images to print on customized M&Ms. Perfect wedding favors for M&M fans!
These treats are the coolest and add a splash of simple color. Lovely…simply lovely!
