World renowned french jeweller, Cartier has some stunning designs just for brides!
Cartier’s Solitaire 1895 collection contains one of Cartier’s most popular rings (the Solitaire 1895 paved, pictured top left). Presented in the famous Cartier red box. The 1895 was designed in the year 1895 and created to allow as much light as possible in to show the diamond off.
Cartier’s history goes back to France in 1847. One of their most famous rings was a massive 69.42 carat diamond, called the ‘Cartier Burton-Taylor’ which Richard Burton gave to Elizabeth Taylor in 1969.
Loving the lower right!
I agree. Cartier makes some of the most beautiful settings. I’ve heard the arguments over and over again that you are just paying for the name. I disagree. I’ve seen other non-brand diamond rings and they look nice, but nothing compares to the beauty and lines of the perfect diamond matched to the perfect Cartier setting. True, for cost differential, you might be able to purchase a larger bulk diamond, but go and ask your insurance company to issue a policy based on current FMV if the ring is declared a loss ten years later – if it’s a Cartier diamond, no questions asked. Cheers!

I have the emerald cut ring shown to the lower right. I’m proud to say I’ve never seen anyone else with it! Very unique!
