2007 has already been a big year for wedding magazines! The shelves are stocked for the newly engaged and for those who race to the newsagent when the latest edition is released (don’t look at me!) – it’s a great time for grabbing the latest issue!
So here’s a peek at our favourite magazines on the shelves now:
January saw the launch of a new Australian magazine Wedding Style Guide, a pocket sized, beautifully designed creation. Their premiere issue features a beautiful mirror themed wedding, a black and white style section, and a home spun wedding featuring pumpkins and calendula flowers. It also has a neat little directory at the back. The next issue is out this month.
Martha Stewart Weddings– which although a US based magazine always profiles our favourite DIY ideas and beautiful weddings. This issue features a sweet gold and pink feature, advice on seating your guests, a black and white food spread and pearls.
Instyle Weddings was typically glamorous and this issue features A Brides Guide to Diamond Shapes (with lots of pictures!), 10 simple ways on saving on your wedding reception, how to create a stunning reception table and a spread on white wedding cakes.
Cosmopolitan Bride gave us a little gold guide- which has already has me drooling over various websites! A fab recipe for wedding cupcakes, a groom’s section and a feature on how to choose the perfect wedding dress are all included.
Bride To Be launched their new website this year and also produced another fabulous edition, featuring a funky blue and red spread, the wedding diary of Lauren Newton and a droolworthy food spread.
Bride To Be also released their annual ‘Your Day’ which is full of real life weddings. This issue features he gorgeous Asian inspired wedding of Holly Brisley, a stunning vintage bride Rebecca, an outback bride Katrina, and pretty bride makeup looks.
