What better way to celebrate a month of all things cocktail than a stunning editorial in a gin bar?

Doe and Deer Photography made this one happen, teaming up with wedding planner Magnolia Studios, stationer Little Green Leaf, floral designer Sugared Style, cinematographer Castle and Crown Films and an amazing dream team to turn this urban cocktail bar (The Gin Parlour) into a setting worthy of “I Do’s”. Filled with deep coppers, bronze browns, and the most golden array of candlelight, this one is packed full of inspiration to steal for your own big day.

Planner Marisha noting “The moment I walked into The Gin Parlour I immediately knew I wanted the chance to style this unique space. With an abundance of inspiration from the rich colour palette, to the iconic bar, the eclectic styling and the urban setting of the Miami Marketta, I couldn’t stop dreaming of this boho urban fusion shoot.”

Our models (and real-life couple!) Paris Swan and Eduard Barakat acting as our bride and groom. Paris, in a lace gown by Pearl Bridal that truly embodied the vibe, her jewels by My Jewellery Shop (that emerald engagement ring? Divine!) and a hairpiece from Ella Bordiss Designs complementing the dark makeup look with effortless up-do styled by Kendall Jayde HMUA. The finishing touch, a custom Hide & Rose leather jacket, for a little rock and roll edge.  Eduard accompanying Paris, wearing a Politix suit (complete with a feathered boutonniere, a running theme by Ella Bordiss Designs ).

With plenty of cocktails to enjoy, the pair “wed” with the help of Benjamin Carlyle, in front of an industrial style backdrop styled with dried, floral installations in tones of champagne, bronze and brown, and plenty of candlelight, before they celebrated at a table set for kings. Southern Lights Candle Co pieces twinkling down the wooden table set with custom menus and tailored linens. Warm-toned orchids and chrysanthemums peeking from a golden frame as the centrepiece, surrounded by cut crystal glassware.

Ekats Couture Cakes added the crowning glory – two beautiful tiered wedding cakes that played off the natural, unexpected tones of the look. The cakes pulling together the look that like everything else curated for this styled shoot, beautifully married boho, natural tones, with modern, sparkling styling.
