If there ever was a colour combination we never seem to tire of, it has to be the beauty of pale grey, blush pink and sparkling gold.

Today’s editorial, captured by DeRay & Simcoe Photography, was set at the waterside venue of Perth’s Acqua Viva, our dream team created a wedding reception that was inspired by the space itself.

Stylist Branka of Blonde and Blue brought the look together, creating a look that not just matched its surroundings, but completely enhanced them and provided so many stealable ideas.

The table was our focal point, set with beautiful grey linens from Event Artillery and crisp white napkins. The combination a foundation for beautiful gold flatware from Why Industries and beautiful cut glassware and crockery pieces from Hire Society. The table with finishing touches of modern stationery pieces by Lala Design and statement white chairs from Event Artillery the final flourish.

Our bride carried this modern, refined styling, model Britney Lilly wearing a beautiful sleek gown with a sparkling beaded bodice designed by Q’nique Bridal. Her look complete with styled waves by  Hidden Hair and romantic makeup in pale pink tones by Jess Rodin.

I really do not think you will argue with me when I say that I think Rose and Bud‘s floral details absolutely make this look. A combination of textured flowers in warm cream tones, paired with delicate, yet romantic soft pink roses used in really beautifully unique ways. From fluffy floral pom-poms that were installed to hang over the table, to the cascading bouquet. My favourite? The almost art piece like floral centrepieces, that completely inspired a beautiful way to use the sculptural bloom Phalaenopsis orchids.

This editorial also has a very poignant meaning to Branka of Blonde and Blue, who dedicates it to her dear friend Charlotte Pownall (of Charlotte Pownall Hair). Branka shares, “I would like to dedicate this shoot to my dear friend Charlotte Pownall, who was meant to be the hairdresser for this shoot but passed suddenly only days prior. I would also like to highlight how incredibly supported I felt by the venue and all those involved and would like to thank each and every vendor for stepping up and ensuring that “The Show Went On”, just as Charlotte would have wanted it to.”
