Emma & Monty

When Emma & Monty tied the knot, they decided on a botanical Brisbane marquee wedding. After a classic church ceremony, their guests gathered at the bride’s parent’s home under a stunning clear marquee decorated with masses of hanging greenery, with Moscow Mules in hand to dance the night away. Emma and Monty chose The Tsudons to capture their day.

On how they met, Emma remembers “We met nine years prior to our wedding day at a Goondiwindi (Monty’s home town) B&S Ball. We hit it off immediately and the rest is history.”

The bride wore an elegant strapless gown from BellaDonna, noting “Simple, comfortable and well worn by the end of the night. Stubborn stains at the bottom of the dress from a night on the dance floor in Emma’s parent’s back yard are a great reminder of one hell of a night.”

Emma and Monty married at Stuartholme Chapel, the bride’s brothers playing a guitar duet of  Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire” as part of the ceremony.

Of their photographers, the newlyweds remark “The Tsudons were a fabulous team! Between the photos and the video they captured our wedding perfectly.”

Guests celebrated with the newlyweds at the bride’s parent’s home. Emma telling “We held the reception at my parent’s home in Bardon. The house is only a short stroll down from the chapel made it very convenient. Pre-drinks were held on the top terrace lawn with New York style Moscow Mules. Following this, we all moved down a level the clear marquee set up on the turf tennis court with a banquet style 3-course dinner under the stars.”

Of their first dance, Emma remembers “We danced to the song by Klingande, Jubel. We chose this song because we loved the Sax solo and weren’t keen on a slow dance.”

Cinematographers One Day In Mind were chosen by Emma and Monty to capture this beautiful film of the wedding day.
