What is a couple to do when they’re newly engaged and want to include the love of their lives – their daughter? Include her of course! I love the style of Bex and Tim’s family picnic engagement! What better way to have photos taken than to hang out doing something you love and doing it as a family together? So many sweet moments were captured by Alanna Garner at Earthbound Images .
Of the photo shoot location, Bex says, “We knew our wedding would be near the water and this was a place where we loved and often shared picnics together as a family.”
On what they love about each other, Bex and Tim tell, “We can be ourselves around each other. We share a lot of the same values and build each other up to be better people. We share something that is larger than love.”
Bex remembers, “One of our best friends Jay went to Europe sailing for a while and told us both that he thought we’d be together before he got back. Our responses were, “NO WAY!” …..he was right.”
Bex remembers the proposal. “It was the most perfect day on Gili Meno in Indonesia. After a fun day snorkeling, releasing baby turtles and horse riding around the island we walked to a restaurant on the beach where Tim said, “I can’t wait any longer, will you marry me?” YES! He had carried the ring in our day pack for several days, leaving it on the boat, at our bungalow, I had no idea.”
